A s the holidays approach, many of us are looking forward to<br />
festive gatherings, beautiful lights and time spent with loved<br />
ones. It’s a season of joy, reflection and connection. But it’s<br />
also a time when we must be especially vigilant on the roads.<br />

Too often, joyful festivities can end in tragedy when someone<br />
chooses to drink and drive. That’s why TxDOT is urging Texans<br />
to plan ahead throughout the holiday season. If you think you<br />
might drink, arrange a sober ride. And if you see someone drink-<br />
ing and about to drive, speak up. Preventing a crash is worth any<br />
