Tips for back to school The idea of writing an article for parents<br />
by Mick Founts, Superintendent of Schools regarding “tips” for kids returning to school…<br />
well…was interesting. I couldn’t help but think<br />
about so much that has changed since when I<br />
went to school!<br />
I remember that school ended that first week<br />
of June and started back after Labor Day. By<br />
the time that first day of school came around,<br />
I was dying to get back to school. I had a<br />
few weeks of summer school that curbed the<br />
monotony that eventually crept into my naive<br />
youthful perspective of a summer of sleep and<br />
frivolity; however, that long summer actually<br />
served as an incentive for return to seemingly<br />
