Interdisciplinary and General Studies at St.<br />
Olaf offers rich and diverse programs in which<br />
students uncover the connections among ideas,<br />
cultures and events. Students are encouraged to<br />
cultivate their ability to work across disciplines<br />
and political and cultural boundaries, to under-<br />
stand more fully the viewpoints of others, to be<br />
sensitive to the ethical dimension of issues, and<br />
to enlarge their own perspectives and horizons.<br />
