WELCOME TO THE FORMULA E 2015<br />
JULIUS BAER PUNTA DEL ESTE ePRIX<br />

Once again, in its second year, the FIA Formula E<br />
Championship features a round in Punta del Este. It's<br />
one of the most beautiful spots on South America's<br />
Atlantic Coast, while Uruguay itself is a country with<br />
a longstanding motor sport tradition. A race was first<br />
staged here in 1913, but it only reappeared on the<br />
world stage last year, thanks to the newest of all FIA<br />
series, Formula E. <br />
In 2014, the Punta del Este ePrix was a great success,<br />
both in terms of its organization and its popularity with<br />
the general public. That was down to all the hard work<br />
put in by the championship organisers, along with<br />
the support from the Automovil Club de Uruguay and<br />
I'm sure we can expect the same again in its second<br />
