Letter from the President<br />
In 2014 NYPA launched its landmark Vision 2020 Strategic Plan. At its core, it outlined six strategic<br />
initiatives to transform the Authority into a next generation utility capable of leading the rapidly evolving<br />
New York State energy system. Our Vision 2020 efforts continue to be guided by Governor Andrew<br />
Cuomo’s innovative state energy policies—Reforming the Energy Vision and the Clean Energy Standard,<br />
which are fundamentally altering how individuals, businesses and communities access energy in every<br />
region of the state.<br />
Halfway through our 6-year plan I am pleased to say we have made significant progress. Due to the hard<br />
work of the Authority’s staff, we are making the vital leap from abstract ideas to concrete results. We are<br />
