Celebrating this Season of Hope<br />
Merry Christmas<br />
At last, a warm and hopeful Christmas<br />
Coming to Star of Hope can feel like entering a<br />
world where everything is brighter. The harsh times<br />
are left behind and God seems close. People talk<br />
about Him easily and personally.<br />
Residents gradually feel they belong to this<br />
community. Instead of being put down, they are built<br />
up. Staff and volunteers know their names. Friends<br />
pray for one another.<br />
Residents settle into a schedule of regular meals,<br />
classes and recreation. They sleep safely. They grow<br />
healthy. Conversations are meaningful. More and<br />
more they see God is with them, and they can move<br />
forward boldly without fear.<br />
And Christmas is<br />
a wonderful time<br />
to see how much<br />
God wants us<br />
