When he was<br /> only two years old, his parents divorced, and<br /> Jeffrey’s mother moved him and his two brothers<br /> to Los Angeles. She did the best she could for her<br /> boys, but they lived in gang-infested territory. After<br /> Jeffrey’s cousin and a friend were murdered by gang<br /> members, the family returned to Houston.<br /> Jeffrey’s mother brought her boys to church every<br /> Sunday, hoping to keep them on a straight path.<br /> However, in his early teens, Jeffrey began to<br /> stray from that path.
