Strategic Planning is a concept utilized by forward<br />
thinking societies and organizations to use as<br />
part of their quality assurance and vision for the<br />
future. The officers of the ADSA are continually<br />
striving to improve our society as well as our<br />
individual course offerings. Under the leadership<br />
of Past-President Joseph Carlisle, the officers<br />
of the ADSA began to formulate a strategic plan<br />
for the society in December 2005. A professional<br />
facilitator was employed to begin the process.<br />
Six areas of importance to the society were<br />
identified:<br />
