Turalay Kenç, deputy governor<br />

Management conference in<br />
Istanbul, began by discussing<br />
the “decoupling” of the<br />
advanced economies and<br />
emerging economies during the<br />
financial crisis.<br />
Kenç demonstrated the<br />
healthy debt-to-GDP ratio and<br />
strong balance sheets in Turkey,<br />
and said emerging markets had<br />
