A Message
from the President
T
his year we celebrated the 50th anniversary of Charger Athletics
and our ongoing commitment to producing student-athletes
who are stars on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
As you will read in the cover story, our dedication to winning
is strong but our commitment to doing it the right way is
paramount. We believe athletic competition builds character,
teaches our student-athletes the importance of perseverance and
instills in them the value of a solid work ethic. No one exemplifies
this spirit better than Debbie Chin, our dedicated director of
athletics and recreation and a national leader in the fight for
equity in college sports.
