CHIPPEWA ATHLETICS<br />
Central Michigan earned the Mid-American Conference's inaugural Cartwright Award, the league's top<br />
overall honor. The award is given annually to the program that best exemplifies academic excellence,<br />
athletic accomplishment and citizenship. MORE<br />
The Chippewas have won 38 MAC titles since 1999-2000, covering 14 of the 16 sport programs. The 2009-10<br />
