YATC logo captures Founder's vision then and now<br />
<br />
I n 1984, shortly after<br />
Jim Moran founded the<br />
Youth Automotive Training<br />
Center, he decided the<br />
school needed a logo that<br />
visually would communicate<br />
what YATC was all about.<br />
In collaboration with<br />
David Williams, then an associate<br />
with JM Family Enterprises /<br />
Southeast Toyota Distributors<br />
Marketing Department, Jim Moran<br />
requested a graphic that captured<br />
YATC's mission of giving troubled<br />
youth a second chance in life.<br />
<br />
By the time the first class began its<br />
six–month program in October 1984, YATC<br />
