As Electric West enters its 22st year, the electric industry, along with the global economy, is undergoing a sea change.<br />
With wildly fluctuating fuel prices and concerns about worldwide climate change, the need for greater energy efficiency has<br />
never been more critical, and the long term evolution of renewable, alternative energy sources, like wind, solar, and waste-to-<br />
energy, has taken on a greater importance than ever before. And, with the rise of renewable technologies, comes increased<br />
emphasis on the need for innovations in energy storage and power distribution to make viable the new business models that<br />
