The major concern is that<br /> there are not enough nurses during<br /> this sudden and critical need for intensive care and general<br /> duty RNs. Nursing students have been greatly impacted<br /> by this crisis. Senior students have suddenly found them-<br /> selves amid a crisis, not knowing if they will complete the<br /> requirements for graduation and for licensure. For all other<br /> students, the ability to academically progress is at jeopardy.<br /> Their future, in many cases, is on pause.<br /> The National Student Nurses’Association (NSNA), for the<br /> first time in its 68-year history, cancelled its Annual Conven-<br /> tion.
