A Creative and Transformative Space<br />
The new Ferman Center for the Arts is a<br />
creative and transformative space for the fine<br />
and performing arts at The University of<br />
Tampa. Students studying music, art, design,<br />
film, theater, dance, communication, speech,<br />
philosophy, English and other fields in the arts<br />
and humanities hone their skills and talents in<br />
this four-story visual and acoustic showcase.<br />
Located at the southwest corner of N. Boulevard<br />
and Spaulding Drive, the 90,000 square foot<br />
building offers sound-insulated professional<br />
spaces, flexible performance staging, art<br />
and dance studios, classrooms, study spaces<br />
and faculty offices, and provides an ideal<br />
setting for students to learn, create, innovate<br />
and continue to break artistic boundaries.<br />
