The Oaks Farms Brangus Private Treaty Bulls 1<br />
At weaning we ship our bulls to Rose Bud feeders, where they are sort-<br />
ed and penned by size and type. They are put in large development lots<br />
that range from 20 to 50 acres in size. The rough, rocky hills are ideal for<br />
building muscle and endurance. This environment lends itself to develop-<br />
ing a very sound and functional breeding bull. The development pens are<br />
designed to optimize health and stimulate exercise.<br />
The Oaks and Genetic Partners currently have 260 head of bulls on feed<br />
with an additional 150 head to be sent to the development center next<br />
month. With over 400 head of bulls on feed we must keep our end goals in<br />
mind. The goal is to produce a sound, functional, fertile herd sire that will<br />
be ready to go to work by the time he is a year of age and will last for many<br />
