Dear Friend,
With Easter just a few weeks away, I’m thinking about that old saying, “You’ve made your bed, now you’ll have to lie in it.”
I’m sorry to say some people apply that saying to the poor, the homeless and the addicted—that they are getting what they deserve. They’ve made their own choices, and now they have to take the consequences. Why should we go out of our way to help…especially when we know there’s no guarantee our help will be appreciated? Aren’t you glad that wasn’t God’s response to our sin?
Yes, we still reap some of the consequences of our mistakes and bad
