Recognizing and rewarding employees for exemplary behavior is hardly<br />
a new idea for hospitals. In fact, most senior hospital executives believe<br />
these motivational activities are critical to their hospital's success.<br />
Consequently, most U.S. hospitals have some type of formal recognition<br />
and reward program in place to ensure that these activities unfold in an<br />
organized and systematic manner.<br />
