I wonder<br />

I wonder if they listen to us…adults.<br />
“Education is the most important thing…it is our future.”<br />
So California, the ninth largest economy in the world, funds schools like a third-world country. We complain<br />
about childhood obesity, and cut physical education. We complain about kids not being able to be creative;<br />
yet, we cut programs like art and music. We complain about kids not being ready for work, while we cut career<br />
and technical education. We complain about students not being college ready, and eliminate proven support<br />
programs like AVID. We even cut the number<br />
of days kids go to school. Education is the<br />
most important thing?<br />
I wonder if they listen to us…<br />
