Introducing the Stunning New Terrace Theater!<br />

Many of us have wondered when the<br />
Terrace Theatre will open again to<br />
the public. That time is fast approaching.<br />
The Kennedy Center will officially open<br />
the newly renovated theater with a month-<br />
long celebration beginning October 6.<br />
The Terrace Theater, which was ini-<br />
tially constructed with donations from the<br />
government of Japan in celebration of the<br />
American Independence Bicentennial in<br />
1979, is the last of the Center’s theaters to<br />
be renovated. At a cost of $21.8 million,<br />
the Terrace Theater has been renovated<br />
to update the theater and facilities, and<br />
enhance the overall guest experience.<br />
The theater seats 490 and will host up to<br />
