That time is fast approaching.<br /> The Kennedy Center will officially open<br /> the newly renovated theater with a month-<br /> long celebration beginning October 6.<br /> The Terrace Theater, which was ini-<br /> tially constructed with donations from the<br /> government of Japan in celebration of the<br /> American Independence Bicentennial in<br /> 1979, is the last of the Center’s theaters to<br /> be renovated.
