Angela was terrified, depressed, and desperate. She and her four young children,<br />
who were as young as 18 months old and no older than eight years old, were starving,<br />
homeless, and trying to find a bench on which to sleep in the Bruni Plaza for the third<br />
night in a row. By the grace of God, a woman named Maria noticed them and their<br />
dire situation.<br />

Maria, who had four children of her own, took in Angela and her family for several<br />
days despite her limited home space, income, and meals. Maria prepared meals for<br />
them, let them bathe, and bought new clothes and shoes for the children. She lent<br />
