When Life Gives You Lemons ...<br />

In these recent months, our<br />
Jewish community, and we at<br />
Temple Israel, have been unex-<br />
pectedly turned upside down<br />
and inside out by COVID-19.<br />
We at Temple Israel have been<br />
busy finding new ways to sew<br />
and enhance the beauty of<br />
the tapestry of our kehillah<br />
kedoshah, our sacred com-<br />
munity.<br />
We never know where our life’s<br />
journey will take us but we are<br />
incredibly invested in staying<br />
close, even from a distance.<br />
Though we are physically<br />
distanced, we need not be<br />
socially distant. We Jews know<br />
the importance of staying con-<br />
nected across distance and<br />
time, giving us strength and<br />
nourishing our resilience.<br />
