The 26th European Association for Cardio-<br />
Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) Annual Meeting, in<br />
Barcelona, Spain, held on 27 – 31 October 2012,<br />
was once again the meeting place for the world<br />
of cardio-thoracic surgery. The main theme this<br />
year was Quality Improvement because this is an<br />
on-going process that needs to be integrated in<br />
