Every September, I have the delightful honor of welcoming a new class of freshmen and
transfer students to our campuses in Lawrenceville and Princeton. From year to year, the
faces change, but their sense of wonder, nervous excitement and unbounded optimism
remain very much the same. As a parent and grandparent myself, I'm always re-energized
about our mission by talking to the parents of our incoming class and listening to their hopes
and dreams for their children's future. “I hope my son graduates with a business degree and
learns how to operate his own company,” one parent will say. “My daughter is studying
