As speed-of-light technological advances continue to transform the way we communicate,<br />
communication majors at The University of Tampa apply critical thinking, historical perspectives<br />
and theoretical interpretation to today’s blogging, texting, YouTube-ing, tweeting and social<br />
networking mediascape. Students explore how individuals, groups, organizations and<br />
societies interact and create meaning using media and messages. Areas of study include<br />
