A Global Importance to Our Work
If you’ve ever driven through campus, you’ve seen many livestock grazing the fields.
The “UC Davis cows” are an important part of our heritage and history. While those
animals are a component of the undergraduate Animal Science program, I’m proud
to say that their veterinary care is provided by our hospital’s livestock services. The
hundreds of cattle, swine, goats, and sheep on campus provide an
