Up on Play Childcare Issue 4<br />
Playground activities to help develop smart kids<br />
We're excited to introduce Smart Play®: Cube 2-5, a mid-century modern design for the<br />
playground. While this play structure welcomes kids ages 2 to 5 for play, we recognized<br />
the vast developmental differences between 2-year-olds and 5-year-olds. That's why Smart<br />
Play: Cube 2-5 was designed to specifically meet the developmental needs of 2- and<br />
3-year-olds.<br />
Years of observing toddlers and preschoolers at play led our team of designers to<br />
incorporate playground components that appeal to this developing age group—activities<br />
that move like steering wheels, shape-and-fit games, and puzzles. Smart Play: Cube 2-5<br />
delivers 14 interactive play activities, and each one was purposefully created to help<br />
toddlers and preschoolers build their senses, motor and cognitive skills, and encourage<br />
