D ick Smith Library has an extensive collection of in-house and online resources to meet our users’ needs.<br />
Annually, we spend roughly $155,000 on physical materials and over $600,000 on databases to provide support<br />
to the university. With that being said, it is still impossible for the library to own every book or journal article wanted<br />
for research or personal needs.<br />
Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) Services<br />
Fortunately, we are able to provide users with Interlibrary Loan Services through<br />
our ILLiad system, which allows us to call on other libraries to fill in collection<br />
gaps through resource sharing. Our interlibrary loan department is a reciprocal<br />
borrower: We borrow from other institutions, and they borrow materials from us.<br />
