Last year, Surfrider Foundation volunteers completed 9,000 water quality tests in<br />
the United States.<br />
<br />
Stop and think about that for a moment; about the value those tests provided to<br />
beachgoers throughout the United States at absolutely no cost to taxpayers. This<br />
is what you invest in when you invest in Surfrider Foundation—healthy oceans<br />
and beaches, clean places to swim and recreate. In short, your investment spreads<br />
and multiplies—the more you give, the more we can help. I'll be direct; I'd like you<br />
to think of making an increased investment in our mission.<br />

Despite the economy 2010 has been a good year for Surfrider. After all, our net-<br />
work is almost 80 chapters strong, and our campaigns are always strengthening<br />
and expanding.
