ACADEMIC REPORT FALL 2010 director’s letter Dear Entrepreneurship Scholars and Colleagues, I am pleased to introduce this second annual Academic Report for the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship. We have completed another outstanding academic year at the Deming Center, one that reflected the depth of our “bench” and our faculty’s commitment to research. Some highlights include: • Eva Yao joined our faculty as an assistant professor in Fall 2009. Eva is rapidly developing a productive research program looking at the intersection of entrepreneurship and renewable energy, and is taking good advantage of the abundant renewable energy entrepreneurs and startups in Colorado. • Jeff York joined our faculty as an assistant professor this summer from the Darden School of Business, where he completed his doctorate last spring.
