golfers. The gold trophy was<br />
commissioned for £250.<br />
It stands 17 inches high<br />
and weighs four pounds.<br />
The figure on top is Abe<br />
Mitchell, who was selected<br />
for the inaugural match, but<br />
contracted appendicitis.<br />

A total of 27 players in<br />
Ryder Cup history have<br />
had other family members<br />
also compete in the match.<br />
