It is a match made in heaven: Paul Mc-<br />
Cartney, a legendary artist who has always<br />
had a love for the ocean; and Jack McCoy,<br />
the brilliant surf cinematographer who is cap-<br />
turing surfing in<br />
a truly unique<br />
way.<br />
The sto-<br />
ryline is just as<br />
perfect: McCoy<br />
was capturing<br />
footage for his<br />
latest surfing<br />
film, “A Deeper<br />
Shade of Blue,”<br />
and during the<br />
editing process,<br />
put one of his sequences to a song off Mc-<br />
Cartney’s album “The Fireman.” A mutual<br />
friend gave McCartney the cut, and Paul im-<br />
mediately thought McCoy’s images would be<br />
suitable to go with “Blue Sway,” an unreleased<br />
song that was written over 20 years ago.<br />
