College of Natural and Health Sciences
Athletic training is a health care profession that deals with the prevention, evaluation, emergency care and Bachelor of Science in athletic Training
rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Students must demonstrate competence in intellectual, physical and social (BSaT)
tasks that together represent the fundamentals of professional practice in a clinical setting. Admission to
UT’s athletic training program is competitive and space is limited.
