Accessible routes outside the play area must be at least 60” wide with a<br />
running slope of 1:20 and a maximum cross slope of 1:48.<br />
Accessible routes within the play area must be at least 60” wide with a<br />
maximum running slope of 1:16, a maximum cross slope of 1:48, and a<br />
minimum overhead clearance of 80”.<br />
An exception for play areas with less than 1,000 sq. ft. can reduce the<br />
accessible route width to 44” wide, with a maximum running slope of 1:16,<br />
a minimum cross slope of 1:48 and a minimum overhead clearance of 80”.<br />
