The Great Haitian Earthquake and the Birth of Rescue Haiti's Children<br />
On January 12, 2010, the nation of Haiti was rocked by a devastating<br />
earthquake which left over 230,000 dead, more than 2 million homeless, and<br />
many hundreds of thousands of orphans—marking one of the ten deadliest<br />
natural disasters in recorded history since the Flood. To help meet the need,<br />
we founded Rescue Haiti's Children. Our team made several strategic trips<br />
to the epicenter of the disaster, sending professional reports back to the<br />
body of Christ, delivering medical and clothing supplies, providing funds to<br />
build homes of specific families who were without shelter, working with<br />
