From the President<br />
Marylin and I just laugh when some of our friends and colleagues<br />
from our prior life in corporate America ask us how it is to be<br />
“semi-retired” as President and First Lady of OU. If they only knew!<br />
While this life is enormously satisfying in so many ways, I can<br />
assure you that no college or university president is “semi-retired”<br />
or if so, won’t be for long.<br />
Ottawa University has always been blessed with the talent and<br />
passion of faculty, staff, board members, and administrative leaders<br />
who go the extra mile for our students. As Ottawa University<br />
continues its growth and development as a comprehensive<br />
American university, it is this deep and abiding commitment to the<br />
education of whole persons for lives of significance that truly sets<br />
us apart.<br />
As the ensuing pages will reveal, this was another excellent year<br />
