From the President
Marylin and I just laugh when some of our friends and colleagues
from our prior life in corporate America ask us how it is to be
“semi-retired” as President and First Lady of OU. If they only knew!
While this life is enormously satisfying in so many ways, I can
assure you that no college or university president is “semi-retired”
or if so, won’t be for long.
Ottawa University has always been blessed with the talent and
passion of faculty, staff, board members, and administrative leaders
who go the extra mile for our students. As Ottawa University
continues its growth and development as a comprehensive
American university, it is this deep and abiding commitment to the
education of whole persons for lives of significance that truly sets
us apart.
