Hard to believe that we’re nearing the end of 2019. We’ve packed a lot into the year:
the approval of a historic 10-year, $77 billion Unified Transportation Program that includes
resources to address congestion in our most populated areas, shore up roads in the Permian
Basin, and improve roads and increase safety throughout our state.
This year, we also prepared for the future of transportation with the creation of
a Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Task Force that will keep Texas at the forefront
of new vehicle technology.
