Hard to believe that we’re nearing the end of 2019. We’ve packed a lot into the year:<br />
the approval of a historic 10-year, $77 billion Unified Transportation Program that includes<br />
resources to address congestion in our most populated areas, shore up roads in the Permian<br />
Basin, and improve roads and increase safety throughout our state.<br />
This year, we also prepared for the future of transportation with the creation of<br />
a Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Task Force that will keep Texas at the forefront<br />
of new vehicle technology.<br />
