he Wisconsin tennis teams<br />
are afforded a competitive<br />
advantage by playing year-<br />
round at Nielsen Tennis Stadium,<br />
ranked by the USTA as one of the<br />
finest tennis facilities in the coun-<br />
try. The stadium features 18 tennis<br />
courts (12 indoor and six outdoor),<br />
five singles and one doubles squash<br />
courts.<br />
The facility served as the site for<br />
the 1991, ’96, ’98 and ’09 Big Ten<br />
Women’s Tennis Championships.<br />
The tennis stadium also has served<br />
as the site for the 1997 Women’s<br />
Rolex Midwest Qualifier, the 1998<br />
ITA Midwest Invitational and the<br />
