If only they knew<br />
Dear Friend,<br />
Some come in our door and breathe a sigh<br />
of relief. “Finally, we are safe.” Others<br />
come reluctantly, telling us this is the last<br />
place they want to be.<br />
They might have been brought here by<br />
family who see Star of Hope as the last<br />
hope to save their loved one. Sometimes<br />
the court systems direct people here for<br />
