Moudgil is an OU professor of Biological Sciences whose<br />
more than 30 years of research has focused on steroid<br />
hormone action and breast cancer. The research in his<br />
laboratory has been supported by funding from the National<br />
Institutes of Health. His laboratory was the first to report a<br />
link between differential actions of ovarian hormones<br />
(estrogen and progesterone) and induction of p53 in T47D<br />
breast cancer cells. Along with his team of graduate and<br />
undergraduate students and a faculty colleague, Moudgil is<br />
currently investigating hormonal regulation of tumor<br />
suppressor proteins, p53 and retinoblastoma, in human<br />
