Campus Safety<br />
The University of Tampa considers the safety and security of all<br />
University community members integral to its educational mission.<br />
Many departments, including Campus Safety, Facilities Management,<br />
Residence Life and Student Affairs, work together to promote a safe<br />
educational environment. UT’s 110-acre campus is patrolled 24/7 by<br />
Campus Safety staff.<br />
The cooperation of all University community members is necessary<br />
to support these efforts. It is important that everyone assume<br />
responsibility for their personal safety by being alert and immediately<br />
reporting suspicious activity on or near campus.<br />
• In case of a medical or police emergency, call Campus Safety at<br />
(813) 257-7777.<br />
• If the emergency is life threatening, call 911 first, then contact<br />
Campus Safety.<br />
