The University of Tampa considers the
safety and security of all University community members
integral to its educational mission. Many departments,
including Campus Safety, Facilities Management,
Residence Life and the Dean of Students work together
to promote a safe educational environment.
The cooperation of all University community members
is necessary to support these efforts. It is important
that everyone assume responsibility for his or her
personal safety by being alert and immediately reporting
suspicious activity on or near campus. Security and
courtesy telephones are located throughout campus.
In case of a medical or police emergency,
call Campus Safety at (813) 257-7777
(campus ext. 7777).
If the emergency is life threatening,
call 911 first, then contact Campus Safety.
