The Financial Aid Office assists graduate students who desire a greater understanding of the<br />
financial aid process. A variety of financial aid is available for UT graduate students.<br />
To be eligible for federal financial aid, students must enroll at least half time. The number of credit<br />
hours required varies by program. Contact the Financial Aid Office for program-specific details.<br />
HOW TO APPLY<br />
1. Complete the FAFSA<br />
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) determines eligibility for all federal student aid<br />
programs. Most aid programs are available only to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Apply online at<br />
studentaid.gov under “Apply for Aid.” Students should complete the FAFSA as soon after Oct. 1 as possible.<br />
