Great Marlin Race<br />

A nglers from around the world gathered in Kona,<br />
Hawaii for the 51st annual Hawaiian International<br />
Billfish Tournament and the launch of the 2010 Great<br />
Marlin Race (GMR). The GMR program was initiated<br />
in 2009 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the<br />
HIBT and its long history of collaboration with cutting-edge billfish<br />
conservation research. The Great Marlin Race is a “competition within a<br />
competition,” where angling teams have the opportunity to sponsor an elec-<br />
