Royal Copenhagen is ready to launch its first new porce-<br />
lain service in 10 years, called blomst, which combines<br />
historic references with a contemporary minimalistic<br />
aesthetic. The decorations are designed by the Dutch<br />
artist Wouter Dolk, who has interpreted one of the oldest<br />
decorations in the company’s history. The design unites a<br />
passion for flowers, a new shape and three-dimensional<br />
brushstrokes, giving new life to the iconic elements and<br />
characteristic cobalt blue decorations.<br />
The beauty of a flower only lasts a moment. It bursts, it<br />
blossoms, and it withers and reminds us to cherish the<br />
present moment before it is replaced by a new one.<br />
The floral element has always been characteristic to Royal<br />
Copenhagen as well, and now, the porcelain manufacturer is<br />
ready to launch a complete new dinnerware, called blomst.<br />
