POETIC FLOWERS
&SIMPLE LINES
/
Royal Copenhagen is ready to launch its first new porce-
lain service in 10 years, called blomst, which combines
historic references with a contemporary minimalistic
aesthetic. The decorations are designed by the Dutch
artist Wouter Dolk, who has interpreted one of the oldest
decorations in the company’s history. The design unites a
passion for flowers, a new shape and three-dimensional
brushstrokes, giving new life to the iconic elements and
characteristic cobalt blue decorations.
The beauty of a flower only lasts a moment. It bursts, it
blossoms, and it withers and reminds us to cherish the
present moment before it is replaced by a new one.
The floral element has always been characteristic to Royal
Copenhagen as well, and now, the porcelain manufacturer is
ready to launch a complete new dinnerware, called blomst.
The POETIC FLOWERS &SIMPLE LINES / Royal Co
