In 2002 Christopher & Christine Grove of<br />
Hunnington purchased an MGB Roadster,<br />
they then located the local MG Club and<br />
became members. However, after a few<br />
weeks the then area secretary closed this<br />
section. All the meetings up to this time were<br />
held at the Horse Shoes pub in Belbroughton.<br />
Chris & Christine picked up the reins and put<br />
an advert in the Halesowen News in the hope<br />
of restarting the club.<br />
A date was set, 7th May 2002, and a new<br />
venue was chosen, The Manchester Inn. 20<br />
MG owners turned up for the first meeting<br />

BROMSGROVE & DISTRICT MGOC<br />
with 12 of those coming back to the next<br />
meeting and thus restarting the Bromsgrove<br />
& District MGOC. Chris took the role of<br />
secretary with Christine giving full support.<br />
