Dear Friend,<br />
Star of Hope is bursting with excitement as our SUMMER OF HOPE is in full swing!<br />
Filled with hope, Houston’s children and families have experienced God’s love in action<br />
because of friends like you. But even though summer must come to an end, hope does<br />
not have to. And it depends on your action today. Let me explain . . .<br />
Soon children across this country will return to the classroom to learn the skills to prepare<br />
them for life.<br />
Unfortunately, many students right here in Houston will not be equipped to get<br />
the education they so desperately need. Their families are too poor to purchase school<br />
