Description of powder extinguishers<br />
Powder extinguishers consist of a cylinder contain-<br />
ing a uniform, fine-grained, non-toxic and non-<br />
absorbent standard powder and a propellant, usually<br />
nitrogen.<br />
The powder is pushed by the propellant up through<br />
the dip-tube, valve and hose. The valve<br />
is controlled with the aid of a<br />
lever.<br />
The pressure in the cyl-<br />
inder is measured by the<br />
manometer, and shows<br />
you when the extinguisher<br />
is ready to use.<br />
The powder extinguisher is further equipped with a<br />
carrying handle and a safety pin.<br />
Servicing should be carried out at least once a year.<br />

How to use the fire extinguisher.<br />
When the powder extinguisher is to be used, pull out<br />
