Friends Trainers are an Important Link to Ensure Volunteers are in the Know

The Kennedy Center Friends Program values its volunteers and
has developed excellent training programs to ensure the success
of the volunteers. The training provides consistency in practice,
confidence in the performance of jobs, and enables volunteers to
feel valued. Training helps new volunteers to learn the program and
to do their job quickly and efficiently. It also establishes that there
is a minimum competency and proficiency that all volunteers are
expected to obtain and maintain. It tells the volunteers that our
