Guardian Media Group chief executive
Andrew Miller said he was seeing signs of
“green shoots” as he reported that digital
growth was now outpacing print decline
for The Guardian titles.
Guardian News and Media this week
reported digital income up 29 per cent to
£56m as losses fell from £44.2m to £30.9m.
He told Press Gazette the latest results
were “extremely significant… in the
context of where we have come from and
in the context of the industry”, adding:
“There are certainly green shoots”.
